The IB (Introducing Broker) commission is paid daily for all closed trades made by your referred clients. The commission structure varies depending on different factors such as the partner level, financial instrument, account type, and trading volume. For more details on how commissions are calculated, please refer to the article Exploring the Partner Commission Information Panel.
Percentage from spread
Commissions are calculated as a percentage of the spread.
Example for the "% from spread" model:
- A partner has 40% commission from the spread.
- If a client opens 1 lot XAUUSD with a spread of 11 points:
- Commission = 11 points × 1 lot = 11 (spread in USD) × 40% = $4.4 USD
- Commission = 11 points × 1 lot = 11 (spread in USD) × 40% = $4.4 USD
- For a 0.5 lot EURUSD trade with a spread of 20 points:
- Commission = 20 points × 0.5 lot = 10 (spread in USD) × 40% = $4 USD
